Social media posts and flyers have recently circulated seeking donations to remodel Taft’s Old City Hall. Some of these materials state that the fundraiser is sanctioned by the Chamber of Commerce.
Neither the Chamber of Commerce nor the City of Taft has endorsed this fundraiser. We urge residents not to donate in response to these materials.
