The Taft Public Library is the center for learning and community in Taft! Whether you’re looking for your next captivating book, want to connect with your community, or are just looking for a quiet place to read or study, we have something here for you. We invite you to come and explore all the library has to offer.
At the Taft Library, we are honored to help people find the information they need. Since 1927, we’ve provided services that our community relies on, and in 2025 we moved to a new facility with even more resources for our community. Whether you’re looking for a new read, a place to study, need to use a computer, or want to copy and scan documents, we’re here to help. We are also thrilled to provide numerous online resources. Thanks for supporting the library!
Library cards are available at no charge to all Texas residents ages 8 and older. Patrons must have a library card to access all library services. The library accepts cash or electronic payment via CashApp, Paypal, or Venmo.
