The Taft Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the city’s infrastructure. Public works consists of engineering, streets, drainage and traffic control, water, and wastewater.

The goal of the Taft Public Works Department is to provide the highest quality of service to the citizens of Taft. Our employees are highly trained and are committed to providing outstanding services for the growth, health, safety and quality of life of our city.

Water CCR Reports

The Consumer Confidence Report, or CCR, is an annual water quality report that the Safe Drinking Water Act requires a community water system to provide to its customers.  The report lists the regulated contaminants found in the drinking water, as well as health effects information related to violations of the drinking water standards.
