We preserve life, protect rights and property, and promote community responsibility while adhering to the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics.

  1. Community Engagement

We practice community policing, provide reasonable public assistance, and conduct outreach, including to victims of family violence and sexual assault regarding immigration resources.

  1. No Bias-Based Policing

Enforcement is based solely on reasonable suspicion or probable cause—never on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or national origin.

  1. Use of Force

Officers use only objectively reasonable force necessary to protect life and resolve incidents.

  1. Constitutional Rights

We strictly uphold Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment protections in arrests, searches, and interrogations.

  1. Eyewitness Identification

Procedures maximize reliability and minimize risk of misidentification.
